Welcoming Newcomers - International Business Lunch 28th of October

Welcome to our first ever English-language business lunch (næringslivslunsj)!

With the establishment of Freyr´s battery cell factories, we will welcome many newcomers into our community in the coming years.

How do we ensure that newcomers stay and thrive?

The Rana Region Business Assocation (Ranaregionen Næringsforening) invites all members and «ranværinger», old and new, to explore this question with us.

Yasna Mimbela from Rana Utvikling will present the "Welcome to Rana" project, and Tore Bratt will present the "Move to Rana" website. In addition, Bendik Aarsæther (TV Klipp), Rannveig Edda Hjaltadóttir (Nord University) and Um-Ul-Banin Syed (Tanken Arkitektur) will share their stories as newcomers to our region. We will conclude the meeting with a panel discussion with Ole Kolstad (Rana Utvikling), Tore Bratt (Rana Municipality), Terje Ditlefsen (Celsa Nordic) and Thomas Gardeur (Freyr).

Welcome to Meyergården, meeting room Okstindan. The lunch is free of charge. We do, however, ask you to register for the event.

Registration will close at Wednesday October 27th at 12:00 (mid-day).
